The message of Divine Mercy
On February 22, 1931 Jesus appeared in Poland in the convent of Sister Faustina Kowalska Plok entrusting the message of devotion to Divine Mercy.
She herself describes this appearance:
"The night I was in my cell. I saw the man dressed in white robes. He had a hand raised in the act of blessing, the other was touching the white robe on his chest. From the chest, the opening of the robe, came out two large rays, one red and one white. After a while, Jesus said, 'Paint a picture according to the pattern you see, and write under: Jesus, I trust in you! I wish that this image be venerated in your chapel and then throughout the world. "rays on the image denote blood and water from the depths of My mercy on the Cross, when my heart was pierced by a spear. The radius is the White Water which makes souls righteous; the red, the blood is the life of souls. " In another appearance
