Anyone Shop At Drjays

Homesick or sick at home?

Hello Blog!

There are fallen ...
After my first sick leave (in 4 years of work!) Last Thursday, here is another day.
Actually I put it there the whole to try to stay at work, but I did.

Already the journey was an ordeal, while at work I could not do anything.
But I had two important meetings and did not want to give up.
But just after lunch I decided to go home and it was the right one.
On the other hand so by the service, it was no use.

Come back in a headwind bike (as usual) plus the need to buy medicine and spending a few days of convalescence. So in the end I had the
seeing double!

When you live alone, to more abroad, these are the most difficult situations, take medicines that do not know, do the shopping, cooking, even if you do not want to.
E 'heavy enough and fortunate that this is just a little bit of influence.
I do not want pity, but it is inevitable that in these moments you feel a little down and start thinking about all that you left and your comfortable bed in your house.

I think that I have been fatal to return to Italy this weekend.
flight Parma Double-London-Dublin and London, which means double the embarkation controls, double expected, double races at the gate breathless, double whistling in the ears (when you feel it is cooled more) to the pressure. So
a grind!
arrival in Dublin was the trolley to hold me and not the other way ...

We'll put a few days to recover.

On the other hand in previous post I had written and how the bike should ride.
But the road may not always be flat (even Dublin!) And sometimes the climb makes you stronger.

But the beauty of it is going uphill. in the end, after struggling so much, there is the descent.
E 'then there is much more taste ...

Grecian Formula Inabu Dhabi

Sitting on the Dock of the Bay and Belfast

Hello Blog!

I'll be back after a little time to tell of the architectural wonders of the future of Dublin.
My office is located in the new district of the Docklands, which was once a port area and is now slowly becoming the hottest area of \u200b\u200bthe city.

All street furniture is marked with modernism and new buildings are up as building Lego.
Currently the area is built for at least 3 / 4 with streets and squares completely new, unknown even to the taxi drivers!
For this and other reasons, it is naturally the most expensive city to live. Although it is definitely a neighborhood
modern, is still missing a few things.
For example, until recently there were no supermarkets. Still missing
pub (or bar lounge, certainly more appropriate having regard to the boundary), and if you want to order a pizza at home you do not even carry it because it is not clear exactly where you live ...
to complete the missing will need to finish in fourth to expand and modernize the bridge Pearse, ending up the marina of Grand Canal Dock and above all that is over the Grand Canal Square.

Grand Canal Square, you see in the image, it will be, with its red carpet opening onto the dock, the airy outlet of the Grand Canal Theatre designed by Libeskind.
Every morning, I passed by and I can see the progress of work.
For now been completed almost the entire floor with those huge red colored rods.
will soon be completing the 5 star hotel at the side of the square.
As for the theater to wait until the end of 2008.

few short years there will be one more reason to sit at Docklands ...

Mount And Blade Unit Limit

Hello Blog!

after I return to be notified of more than a week due to friends visiting.
commitments and the desire to be with them, I had to neglect the blog.

To forgive me I'll write a post in 2 parts: New Year and Belfast.
a way as any to update you on what happened to me in recent days.

Let us begin with order ....

NEW YEAR
After my return from Italy there was a return to work a little soft, perfect prelude to the festivities last year.

At this point a distinction should be.
people, the approaching New Year, are divided into 2 parts: those who expect a big party and the load of expectations and those who basically do not care.

Behold, I am part of the second category, however, it is pleasant to share the joy of the first.

My New Year's Eve in Dublin has begun a friend's house in Austria, with friends, colleagues and various boyfriends. In
doubt that anyone would bring enough to eat and drink each guest has brought you need (in his opinion) for the party. As a result, Veronika, our host, has avoided making spending three days and buy alcohol for at least 5 or 6, although the Germans and Austrians can never say ...

However, the most popular dish was the pasta amatriciana (thanks Gigi!) As well as the cured meats taken from me.

The highlight of the festival there was midnight when we climbed to the eighth floor of this building in the center of Dublin and then on the roof.
up there with all the cities we admired around the fires artifice to 360 degrees.

Just time to back down and tried to proceed to the nearest nightclub.
After that we were unable to enter, we have found refuge in the pubs of Temple Bar where, at 3 or so, we took the road home.

Still, a nice evening!
Happy New Year!

BELFAST
After the aftermath of New Year, I took a day off to go see Belfast, which is just more than a couple of hours from Dublin Bus.
I must say I was quite full of expectations and I was also informed before you leave.
Belfast seemed like a nice place to visit and I was also curious to how was another major city in Ireland although formally in another state.

Unfortunately I have to say I was disappointed.
I traveled for almost longer than then I was there (5 hours there and back against 6 of stay) and I also passed Oretta about the 3D cinema and the other at the restaurant.

In fact Belfast is a city in flux, we see that the whole community there is going all out to offer the best for tourists, however, when you discover that there is a cinema in the top attraction sends you to Castle Street and Castle Court is a shopping center, the difference with what you're used to it so much.

Probably my visit was a bit shallow and maybe something outside the city center and was deserving, but I could not get there on foot.

The most interesting thing they told me the next day, unfortunately, are the murals on the barriers that divide Protestants from Catholics.
Unfortunately it is something that does not describe the maps you need to know before you go to find out.

The rest is building a beautiful waterfront on both sides of the river which once completed will surely give a modern touch to this city.
If you plan to go to Belfast and then maybe wait a year or so ...

Some say that the best is the worst Belfast Dublin, My point of view, the comparison does not do justice. In Dublin.

I collected information on Northern Ireland, however, and I think this spring will organize a trip to the Trail of the Giants and to cross a rope bridge over the sea ...

In the meantime I can say that my visit to this little town was very fast and Bel ...
